Rhetoric in Action
The Structure
Schools say they teach critical thinking skills, but wishing it would happen doesn’t make it so. We teach how to think, how to reason, and use games to enjoy it! Then we put those skills into practice in a fun, engaging group setting.
01 . Logic Games and Puzzles-Sharpen your thinking through fast-paced interactive challenges that build pattern recognition, problem-solving, and mental agility. Students will tackle riddles, strategy games, and collaborative puzzles that reward creative thinking. Expect laughter and lots of “aha” moments.
02. Structured Reasoning- Learn how great thinkers actually think. Students will explore deductive, abductive, and inductive reasoning through real-world scenarios and guided challenges. Break down arguments, identify assumptions, and build clear logical conclusions-skills that transfer directly to school and everyday decision making.
03. Debates and Verbal Sparring-Step into the arena and learn to think on your feet. Practice using your rhetorical skills by verbally sparring with your peers in a respectful way that fosters quick thinking and persuasive communication.
04. Rhetoric in the Wild -Critical thinking doesn’t stop in the classroom. Students will analyze advertisements, social media, news clips, and everyday conversations to spot flawed reasoning, bias, and persuasive techniques.
05. The Grand Symposium-Put it all together in an unforgettable finale. Students will collaborate in a high-energy escape room-style challenge that requires logic, reasoning, and communication to solve.
