Rhetoric & Argumentation

The ancient art of persuasion — modernized. Campers learn to construct arguments that are not just convincing but sound. We study Aristotle's three appeals (ethos, pathos, logos) and practice applying them in real debate contexts.

Fallacy Detection

The world is full of bad arguments dressed up to look good. In this track, campers become fallacy detectives — learning to identify ad hominem attacks, straw men, false dilemmas, slippery slopes, and over 20 other tricks used to deceive.
